Kontakt listed no MIDI ports on the MIDI tab of settings.

Well, for the record, that one is solved now: the alsa MIDI devices mustbe present at the time Kontakt is started; if they are, they do show upon the MIDI tab.

(However, devices created later will not be displayed.)
