Welcome to Windows emulation wack a mole! I tossed a cabinet.dll from WinXP Pro into /usr/local/lib/wine, and now the error windows from the following URL's no longer present themselves: http://www.scoundrelz.net/~moose/quicken/quicken03.png http://www.scoundrelz.net/~moose/quicken/quicken04.png The install just craps out after: err:dc:DCE_FreeWindowDCE [0x20029] GetDC() without ReleaseDC()! And right back to the terminal :( It is important to note I was listening to Loverboy's "working for the weekend" at the time...
