Sorry, I am not wine developer (and actually I do not have much fame as C developer:) so I can't help here. > Frankly, I'm sort of sick of the seemingly universal "Linux == free" mentality. > Yes, M$ is evil (very, actually), yes, they earn way too much money, > but who exactly taught you to apply the same principle to Linux companies ?? > Besides, did you know that there's a pretty remarkable difference between the > company producing VMWare and the companies working on Wine ? > Guess what that difference is ? Did I tell Transgaming is evil? Did I tell "linux == free"? Track this thread - you'll not find any phrases like this. I just have _my_ reasons not to pay for this. I greatly appreciate the things done by Transgaming and others (including VMware, which I do use sometime) and always thank all the people working do deliver good things for Linux. And "evil" is not making too much money. "Evil" is completely different thing (guess what?) > Well, bad news: you'll have to use the Transgaming version, I'm afraid. OK. Thanks to their cvs, I have a chance. BTW, don't they have intension to make at least source snapshots periodically? > (of course my opinion is not in the least related to me having anything to > do with them) :) Everything is related in the Universe... Thanks for your comments. Sergey
