*is
a â?¬5m Doctoral Networks grant hosted by a pan-European consortium that will
support *18 new PhD positions*. Understanding the formation, movement, and
host-rock interaction of upper crustal aqueous fluids on Earth is the
central theme. PhD candidates are offered a very competitive salary, a
generous research budget and work placements with industry partners that
are built into all PhD roles.

*Candidates from all nations are encouraged to apply*. In fact, researchers
must not have resided/worked/studied in the country of their host
organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to
applying. The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, at St Andrews
will therefore prioritise non-UK candidates, and other consortium members
will be open to accepting UK candidates.

The consortium seeks to fill all 18 PhD positions to start in Summer 2025.
The *deadline to apply is** March 7th*, 23:59 PM CET time.
