Dear Colleagues,

Many in our field are unaware that geothermal drilling has reached silicic
magma. All encounters were accidental, so intentional scientific drilling
of the hydrothermal/magma boundary would reveal much more and answer major
questions that have gone unsolved for decades. If this might be of interest
for the academic 2020-2021 seminar series in your department, please go to
the URL below for more information. I can appear virtually or, if the world
returns to normal, in person and will do my best to appear "distinguished"
in either case.

You'll note that a lecture on the climate record of a young Siberian impact
crater by Julie Brigham-Grette is also available!
