The following session at Goldschmidt 2020 ( https://goldschmidt.info/2020/ )
in Honolulu Hawaii 22-26 June may be of interest to the atmospheric
community:

Volcanic activity produces a spectrum of natural hazards and impacts. The
most widespread environmental impacts from volcanic eruptions are typically
associated with emissions of gas and particulate matter, including aerosol.
These impacts range from small to large scale volcanic pollution events,
commonly associated with introduction of S, F, Cl (and other) compounds at
toxic levels into surface environments (e.g. bio-, hydro- and geosphere),
as well as loading of gases and particles at various levels in the
atmosphere, resulting in chemical and physical phenomena that can have
significant effects on atmospheric circulation and opacity as well as the
ozone budget. In this session, we invite contributions addressing the
volcanic outgassing and atmospheric chemical processing of gases and
particulate matter, atmospheric loading of volatiles as well as
volcano-environment and volcano-atmosphere interactions.
