Dear colleagues,

It is an honor invite you to send contributions to the session "*Inclusiones
vítreas de sistemas volcánicos Latinoamericanos: avances y logros*"
(Session 1j), in the framework of the 1st ALVO congress in Antofagasta,
Chile (November 3-7, 2019).

Glass inclusion study in volcanic deposits allow to understand phenomenoms
that control generation, ascent and emplacement of magmas from the mantle
to the crust. Glass inclusions are the results from the entrapment of small
drops of melts inside minerals during their cristalization. During the
recent years, an increasing amount of works related to glass inclusions
have been produced where numerous researchers provided use of analytical
instruments for which novel methodologies have been implemented. This
permitted to study volcanic arcs, determining petrogenesis, magmatic
evolution, in addition to pre-eruptive and mineral-melt equilibrium
conditions inside the reservoir from those systems. This session looks to
demonstrate works associated to the study of glass inclusions, in addition
to the new analytical and experimental techniques applied in volcanic
systems from Latinoamérica.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 3, 2019. For more details
visit the website https://www.1ercongresoalvo.com/ . To submit your
abstracts, go to
