Dear volcano community,

Kittens get attention--especially on social media! Please contribute to an
IAVCEI effort to develop community-wide considerations for responsible
communication of volcanic hazards on social media--a valuable and often
challenging tool.

A reminder that the questionnaire to gather community input on this social
media guidance closes this Friday, April 12.

We are especially interested in *observatory perspectives from around the
world.*

Please take some time to share your thoughts and experiences.

We are also still very interested in individual perspectives, so do not let
this email dissuade you from accessing the questionnaire. Responses from
all sectors and career stages are still welcome and very helpful.

Thank you!

Beth, on behalf of the Communications Working Group within the IAVCEI
Commission on Volcano Hazards and Risk
