To celebrate the centenary of IAVCEI (International Association of
Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior) this year, we are
launching a competition for a new cover of the Bulletin of Volcanology (the
affiliated journal of IAVCEI). Despite the journal being entirely on-line
nowadays, the cover is still an important emblem of the journal, used on
the website and for publicity purposes. Entries can include photos (with
no people visible) as well as artwork, photomicrographs, seismograms,
etc. The entries must be original (to avoid copyright issues), and there
is a limit of one entry per person.

Please send your entry to franvanwyk@xxxxxx (the deadline for entries is 15
May 2019). The competition will be judged by a panel of BV editors, and
the winner will be announced at the IUGG meeting in Montreal in July 2019.
