Dear Colleagues,

 A 1 year grant supported by the EUROVOLC project is available at INGV Pisa.


*Timeframe*

Applications will be accepted until the *23rd of April 2019*.

Successful candidates should start at the latest the *1st of June 2019*


*Project Title*
Assimilation of ground-based and satellite electromagnetic emission and
absorption data for volcanic plumes, using numerical models


*Project activities*
- implementation of the electromagnetic module
- 3D numerical simulations of volcanic plumes
- comparison between observations and model results


*Requirements*

The prospective candidate should hold a Master in Physics, Mathematics,
Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields.

- Experience with LINUX/UNIX

- Programming experience: c/c++, python

- Experience with fluid dynamical models for geophysics
