Ekaterinburg is a historic city founded by Peter the Great and named after his wife Catherine. It is also the city in which the family of the last Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II, were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918. CAM-2019 will be held on September 3 - 5, 2019 at the Zavaritsky Institute of Geology and Geochemistry - RAS. Pre and post conference field trips in the Urals are planned.
