The Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Missouri in
Columbia invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of
Visiting Assistant Professor, for the 2019-2020 academic year. A Ph.D. in
Geological Sciences or a related area is required. The successful candidate
will teach 3 courses each semester, including at least one introductory
Geology course, Mineralogy (Fall 2019), and Igneous and Metamorphic
Petrology (Spring 2020). Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to
effectively teach students across the curriculum.
