Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to participate in the 2019 Asia-Oceania Geoscience
Society (AOGS) 16th Annual Meeting in beautiful Singapore, 28 July - 2
August, 2019.
http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2019

Abstract submissions are closing in one week, Feb 19 (= Feb 18 in the
Americas).
(extended submissions deadline)

Several volcanology and volcanology-related sessions are being offered,
including:

SE09: Active Volcanic Processes from the Mantle to the Atmosphere:
Multidisciplinary Approaches to Monitoring, Hazards, and Impacts (main
volcanology session)
PS04-SE: Volcanism and Tectonism Across the Solar System
IG14-SE: Tephrochronology in Southeast Asia and Oceania
SE18: Linking Numerical, Analytical and Experimental Modelling with Remote
and Local Volcano Monitoring Data
IG19-SE: Volcanic Gas Surveillance: Applications to Monitoring and Hazard
Mitigation
SE22: Emerging Trends in Ore Deposit Studies
SE23: Oceanic Lithosphere: from Ridge to Arc
SE27: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Extending Our Chronology of
Catastrophic Geologic Events

Volcanology-related session (see session descriptions):
IG04: Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk: Current and Historical Perspectives
IG16: Lake Studies of Environmental Change
AS01: Aerosol and Cloud Observations from Geostationary Platforms -
Breaking the Temporal Barriers
SE01: Paleomagnetism and Rock Magnetism Applied to Solving Geological,
Geophysical, and Environmental Problems
SE02: Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Active Faults in East Asia
SE28: Advances in Fiber-optic Technologies for Geophysical Applications
SE30: Tectonics and Geohazards in the Western Pacific: Geologic Models and
Geophysical Constraints

To browse session descriptions and submit abstracts, create a login to
"MARS" from the AOGS website (http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2019).

NEW (extended) abstracts submissions deadline:
19 Feb 2019 (Singapore time!)
For contributors in the Americas: Singapore is GMT+8, so you should submit
