Dear All,

We would like to draw your attention to the following Post-Conference Field Trip at Ischia the next 8-12 September, after “Cities on Volcanoes 10” in Naples (Italy) the next 2-7 September.

The field trip will consist in:

1.    - a circumnavigation of the island, to outline the volcanological, geomorphological and tectonic features along the coast;

2.   - two-days on land excursion, to focus on peculiar aspects of the Ischia geology and natural hazards;

3.     -  during the walks through breathtaking sceneries of incomparable beauty and great naturalistic and cultural interest, ample space will be given to the enhancement of local products, with food and wine interludes, and relaxation at spa facilities;

4.  - a meeting with local civil defense authorities and representatives of schools to increase awareness on natural hazards and promote more effective risk mitigation actions.
