We are pleased to invite you to a session on the commercial consequences of volcanic activity.
The session ( https://www.citiesonvolcanoes10.com/s3-12/ ) will bring together stakeholders in the business, government and scientific communities in order to identify priorities and methodologies for evaluating and mitigating economic and insurance losses from volcanic eruptions. Especially welcome will be contributions that highlight successes and failures in existing insurance and economic strategies, that identify specific needs from volcanic risk science, and that raise awareness of the full range of potential economic impacts from volcanic eruptions.
