We are pleased to bring to your attention the interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary

International Conference on Resilience and Sustainability of Cities in Hazardous Environments that will take place from 26 to 30 November 2018 in Naples Italy. Each day of 5-day conference will explore a specific theme and the plenary session at the end of the day will debate significant issues relevant to the theme.

DAY 5 Theme: Cities at Risk Perceived by School Children  http://congress.gvess.org/program   calls for the participation of K-12 school children working on creating a greater consciousness of their hazardous environments.  The Neapolitan schools will participate under the topic “Naples: City at Risk” and we would welcome other cities in hazardous environments to participate under similar banners.  Please bring this request to the attention of relevant school authorities in your cities so that they can prepare on time if they wish to participate, or provide relevant contact information via  http://congress.gvess.org/contact

 


From the website you can download conference flyer,  submit queries and abstracts for regular, keynote, lecture, panel, open session and working group presentations. 


The profiles of experts of the topics and themes and first authors of presentations at the conference will have their biographies and research interests  posted on the webpage throughout the year.  Keynote and lecture extended abstracts will be published on the webpage and peer reviewed technical papers will be published in conference proceedings.
