Dear volcanophiles,
Our group is currently working on a lava flow emplacement project. In particular, we are trying to characterize and parameterize fast moving low viscosity channelized lava flows and their associated features.
In order to expend our catalogue, we are looking for videos that have recorded high speed flows (e.g., in Hawaii, Piton de La Fournaise, Galapagos, Etna, Erta Ale rift zone, Etna, Lengai, etc.). If any of you channelized lava flow videos (parameter estimates would be greatly appreciated!) and willing to share them, please let us know.
