Dear all,

We are now inviting applications for a funded volcanology PhD project starting in Autumn 2018 based at the University of Oxford entitled: “What controlled the explosivity and sulfur release of the largest recent explosive eruption on Earth?”.

The project is fully-funded for EU and UK students. Overseas students are welcome to apply, but will need to have arranged funding from other sources.

Deadline for the application is 19th January.

The project description, along with details about how to apply can be found here: https://www.earth.ox.ac.uk/teaching/graduates/dphil-projects-2018/

Kind regards,
