Dear all,

If you are interested in Planets and Volcanology, there is a fantastic opportunity to apply for a PhD project on the Volatile History of the Moon at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the University of Manchester, UK. The PhD studentship is funded by the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council, and the successful candidate will start in Sept 2018. All details can be found at the following link:

The deadline for applications is January 18th 2018 at 5 pm, and interviews will be held at the University of Manchester on 23rd February 2018.

Our studentships are available to UK nationals and other EU nationals who have resided in the UK for three years prior to commencing the studentship. If you meet these criteria, funding will be provided for tuition fees and stipend.  Students from EU countries who do not meet the residency requirements may still be eligible for a fees-only award. Overseas students may be able to join the programme but will need to have arranged funding from other sources.
