Dear colleagues,
We are soliciting submissions for a special issue of Earth, Planets and
Space (a Springer journal) on "Forecasting Phreatic Eruptions: A case
study of the 2015 eruption of Hakone volcano". This special issue aims
to compile multidisciplinary observations and understanding of this
eruption and volcanic system and similar volcanoes world-wide to provide
a basis for volcano monitoring and hazard mitigation in
hydrothermal-prone volcanoes.
