Hello everyone!

Come join our IAVCEI session in Portland (http://iavcei2017.org) this August where we will talk about how and why it is important to understand heterogeneity in magmatic systems, and how this influences the interpretation of magmatic processes using volcanic observations. The title of our session is "How good are volcanoes at sampling magmatic systems in space and time?". You can find more details in the following link: http://iavcei2017.org/ses_I3.html and the deadline for abstract submission is March 17th.

We have two great invited speakers, and it will be a excellent opportunity to hear good ideas and discuss science. Look forward to seeing you all in August!
