Dear colleagues,

The conveners would like to draw your attention to the session “GPR Characterization of Volcanic Deposits: Insights and Implications” at the upcoming Near-Surface Asia Pacific Conference of the Society of Exploration Geophysics.

We welcome contributions that apply ground penetrating radar methods to the study of volcanic deposits and processes. This might include characterization of deposit bedforms, mapping of buried features, insights pertaining to the active system, monitoring techniques, etc.

All abstracts should be submitted electronically via email to nsgapc@xxxxxxx with the application form, which is available at the following URL: http://www.seg.org/events/upcoming-seg-meetings/2015/ns-asia-pacific-2015. PDF format is required.

The 2nd Near-Surface Asia Pacific Conference is a joint near-surface conference conducted by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG), China Geophysical Society (CGS), Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geophysicists (KSEG) and Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan (SEGJ) scheduled for 7 – 10 July 2015 in Waikoloa, Hawaii, USA.

Looking forward to seeing you in Hawaii,
Leah Courtland, Sarah Kruse
