Hi folks,
This is a wide invitation to anyone interested in outreach, education, information and communication of volcanic hazards to come along to the following informal get-together.
We hold this at most Cities on Volcanoes meetings.
Evening workshop 6.II.A - OUTREACH EXCHANGE
Time: 18:30pm, Wednesday 10 September
Place: Room booked, room number to be advised at the conference - Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta
Description:
The purpose of the informal Outreach Exchange is to provide a forum for any meeting participant to present a good outreach idea, or bring an outreach product to show or to share. These items alone might not deserve a full meeting abstract, but they are of interest to many meeting participants.
This exchange is open to all people who decide to attend on the day, please be prepared to describe your outreach material for a few minutes to the group. A powerpoint facility will be available for one or a few slides if you wish to bring these along. Please email : g.leonard@xxxxxxxxxx to indicate you are planning to attend, and if you have something to present, so that we get a rough idea of numbers. But an email is not required to attend – all are welcome
