Dear Colleagues,

We invite contributions to AGU session #3537, "Reducng Vulnerability from Latin American Volcanoes Through Enhaced Monitoring Efforts”

Recent advances in monitoring capabilities for dangerous volcanoes throughout Latin America have provided improved public safety through establishment and enhancement of monitoring networks, determination of baseline parameters for volcanoes of concern and communication of hazards among researchers and to the local populations.  Interdisciplinary and inter-institutional cooperation provides enhanced readiness for staff at new and old observatories alike.  We invite contributions addressing the advances in monitoring capability, resources, tools and collaborations geared towards mitigation of risk for eruptive activity across the region.
