Assistant Professor in stratigraphy – University of Iceland, Faculty of Earth Sciences
The School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Earth Sciences at the University of Iceland invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in Geology.
The position of Assistant Professor with emphasis on stratigraphy (e.g. geological mapping, geochronology, structural geology, historical geology) is vacant. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level stratigraphy and geology courses and to pursue an innovative research program, including international collaboration within his/her field of expertise.
The application deadline is May 12, 2014. The successful candidate will be expected to start no later than January 2015.
