Dear All,
this is to inform that IAVCEI has generously given some financial support to promote the attendance of postgraduate students to the International Summer School that will be held next 25-29 September in Frascati (Italy) on the Explosive Volcanisim of Alkaline-Mafic Magmas organised by the Italian Association of Volcanology (infos at www.aivulc.it).
The funds are intended to cover part of the travel expenses or the summer school fees. Preference will be given to applicants from developing countries.
Should you wish to apply, please send an email to guido.giordano@xxxxxxxxxxx and to riccardo.avanzinelli@xxxxxxxx stating your current position, the reasons for asking the financial support and please attach also a brief CV.
Registration is open till August 30 and all details can be read at www.aivulc.it
Given the very short time, grants will be managed as reimbursement that will be given at the time of the Summer School, so attendants should be able to anticipate all costs
