Mineralogy/Petrology Position

 

The Department of Geology/Geography at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a one year full-time sabbatical replacement position, beginning August 2012.  Teaching responsibilities will include the Mineralogy-Petrology sequence and general education courses in Earth Sciences and/or Oceanography.  Ph.D. preferred, ABD will be considered.  Applicants should electronically submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, transcripts, statement of teaching philosophy, and 3 letters of recommendation to Dr. Craig A. Chesner (cachesner@xxxxxxx).  Review of applications will begin on April 15.  EIU is an AA/EEO employer.
