We are pleased to announce the LASI V workshop on "The physical geology of subvolcanic systems: laccoliths, sills and dykes" to be held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, 29-30. October 2012.
The LASI conferences gather specialists in volcanology, tectonics, structural geology, petrology, geochemistry, geochronology, geophysics, exploration geology, and modelers.
A post-conference field trip to Karoo Basin (31.10 to 3.11) includes visits to the Golden Valley Sill Complex and the Witkop III Hydrothermal Vent Complex.
Deadlines:
Registration opens 1. May 2012 and closes 1. July 2012
Abstract deadline is 1. July 2012
Southern African student grant deadline is 15. May 2012
