SolEx: A tool to calculate COHSCl solubilities in basalts
From: Fred Witham <fred.witham@xxxxxxxxxxx>
*****************************************************************************************
Hello everyone,
We would like to draw your attention
to a new tool, SolEx, that can be used to calculate solubilities of
mixed C-O-H-S-Cl fluids in basalts, for pressures up to 4 kbar. Exsolved
volatile compositions are also calculated for open- and closed-system
degassing. The tool is available for Mac OS X and Windows (XP onwards),
from...
A
Computers & Geosciences article detailing the performance of the
software, and the underlying modelling approach can be accessed at
We hope that you find it useful.
If you have any problems running the software please contact Fred Witham (fred.witham@xxxxxxxxxxx).
Best wishes.
