My name is Cécile Savry and I'm a French graduate student in
volcanology: I obtained this year the Master 2 degrees majoring in
research entitled "Magmatic and metamorphic process – Volcanology" at
the Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans (Clermont-Ferrand, France) with the
quite good mention (12.132/20; 8th /12 students).

During my Master degree I worked in tectonics and volcano-tectonics in
the Lesser Antilles. I studied the morphotectonic structure of
Martinique island, with Nathalie Feuillet (OVSM, IPGP, France). With
analogue models and intensive fieldwork I studied the structural
deformation of arc volcanoes, with the example of Soufrière Volcano
(Guadeloupe). My supervisor was prof. B. van Wyk de Vries (OPGC, LMV,
France). I have a complete formation of geology, including physics and
mathematics, and I have notions in computing.

I’m looking for a PhD in volcanology or tectonics to complete my
formation in research. I’m particularly interessed by
volcano-tectonics phenomena, and relationships between volcanoes and
regional tectonic. However I’m ready to work on projects in the area
of physical volcanology or tectonics.

If my profile could interest you please contact me at :

Thanks for your help,

Cécile Savry
