Dear Friends,
I have a collector's gem. It is "Walks and Talks in the
Geological Field", by Alexander Winchell, revised by Frederick Starr.
Publisher was The Chautauqua-Century Press, 1894. It has 347 pages
plus index. It is in very good condition, having only stains on the
cover. A geological book collector will love it. It presents a look
at the geological thought of the late 19th century.
I thought of ebay, but decided to direct it to the geological
community first. Would you please put this in your newsletter,
website, etc?
