Explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Seismic activity of the volcano remains at high level (data from KB GS). According to satellite data, ash plumes extend up to 330 km (206 mi) to the northeast on May 20, approximate cloud height 8500 m ASL. A large thermal anomaly is noted.
