General information of the meeting including access to the venue and activities during the meeting is shown in the homepage and second circular. The conference consists of three main symposiums (knowing volcanoes, volcanoes and cities, and living with volcanoes), each of which has multiple sessions, and one-day intra- meeting field excursion around Unzen volcano. Fourteen pre- and post-conference excursions, visiting Japanese and Korean volcanoes, and learning volcanic disasters and the measures, are prepared together with additional activities by local people, students and so on. Following this meeting, available is attending three-days international workshop at Mount Fuji, commemorating the 300 years anniversary of AD 1707 great eruption.
