[VLAN] Trunk problem?

I guess you know that VLAN 1 always is the default VLAN in Cisco
equipment, meaning that all untagged packets on ports not in any VLAN
will belong there.

Sounds like the IOS config is off. But use a hub (NOT switch!), a
cross-over cable and a spare computer system to sniff packets from
the wire to be sure.
