So, I have checked on my VDR 170 your issue. I can confirm that on encrypted dvb/s dvb/s2 channels I receive the message "Channal not available"

But you can fix it easy :)

Go to Menu - Setup - Update channels - NO
after that go to the channels edit (red button) - change CA field from encrypted to Free to Air
