Hi Stefan,

I may found something interesting. Following your advices I add twm in
my .Xclients. Same behavior.

But vdr is eating more than 60% of cpu and syslogd the remaining...

I found the following msg in /var/log/messages
Nov  4 08:16:46 vdr vdr[2468]: ERROR (transfer.c,124): Invalid Argument
Nov  4 08:17:16 vdr last message repeated 378252 times

Is it helping ?
