Autotimers in vdradmin causing vdr to skip during playback

Maybe it's related, maybe not, but when I push (instead of pull) the epg 
over SVDRP vdr is extremely unresponsive (i.e. it takes several seconds 
to react to a keypress). That's why I scheduled it early in the morning 
when I'm not using vdr ;-)
