There's probably something there I can work with.  I would be
interested in contributing to util-linux-ng hwclock in a role similar
to a kernel subsystem maintainer.  But there's a lot to consider.  I
have a bunch of issues I want to work through in my head and I'll get
back to you by the end of the week.
