Brady Smith, 928-527-3490 Firewood permits available on east side of Flagstaff Flagstaff, Ariz. –
Firewood permits are available at the Flagstaff Ranger Station on the east side of Flagstaff, across from the mall, at 5075 N. Highway 89. Firewood permit sales cease December 7, so sales often peak during the months of September through November. People regularly travel to the Forest Supervisor’s Office from the east
side of town to purchase a firewood permit without knowing the Flagstaff Ranger Station has them available. This creates longer lines than normal at the Forest Supervisor’s Office and a longer wait time. The Flagstaff Ranger Station typically has less customer traffic than the Forest Supervisor’s Office, so customers will experience less wait time when purchasing permits there. For more information on firewood permits, please visit
www.coconinonationalforest.us and click on “Passes & Permits” in the left column or contact the Flagstaff Ranger Station at 928-526-0866.
