Coconino National Forest Wildfire Update

Flagstaff, AZ Several lightning-caused wildfires on the Coconino National Forest continue to be managed for natural resource objectives, which allow fires return to the ecosystem to improve forest health. A widespread haze visible over the Flagstaff and Verde Valley today appeared to be the result of dust storm activity to the south combined with haze blown from the Arizona-California border.
