National Public Lands Day Fee Waiver for Visitors
The Begich, Boggs Visitor Center will waive the normal fee for the movie and exhibits on National Public Lands Day, this Saturday, September 25th. This fee waiver is offered in cooperation with other federal agencies under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (REA).
Hours of operation are 9-6 daily. The center offers interpretive walks and presentations, a 20-minute film entitled “Voices From the Ice,” and a wide variety of interactive exhibits about the Chugach National Forest. For more information call the visitor center at 907-783-2326.
