Hobble Fire and Game Management Unit 7W

       
WILLIAMS, Ariz. – The Hobble Fire, 18 miles northeast of Williams, is 1140 acres and burning in Game Management Unit 7W.  The fire, which is being managed for resource objectives, is burning from the Hobble Mountains southwest towards Buck Mountain and only affects a minimal portion of Unit 7W.  All roads are open and accessible but all visitors are encouraged to be aware of potential increases in fire activity.  If fire activity increases, visitors may need to move their camps. Please be advised that this fire may last for several weeks.
