Hi there, No idea if someone is still reading this list, but here goes. I'm using a rather old compile of trn-4.0-test76 on a few Linux boxes. I compiled this binary a while ago on a box which is by now gone. However, due to problems with re-compiling it, I re-used this old binary. Recently, it developed some 'glibc' related memory allocation errors when browsing big newsgroups. For that reason, I'm trying to recompile it on the boxes I'm using it on now, since this is perhaps a problem with a somewhat older version of glibc... However, compiling bombs: work/trn-4.0-test76$ make gcc -c -O2 -I/usr/local/include -DDEBUG datasrc.c In file included from datasrc.c:15: opt.h:135: error: array type has incomplete element type make: *** [datasrc.o] Error 1 In opt.h, line 135 is: extern INI_WORDS options_ini[]; which in turn is defined in typedef.h. I really have no idea why it complains about this....
