Menu entries for terminal-based applications

I have a terminal-based application that I'm trying to debug. I have created
a menu entry for it with Run in Terminal checked. There is also an option to
keep the terminal from closing when the application ends, but I can't find it
either by using the Menu Editor or by right-clicking the entry in the menu
tree and selecting Edit Item. I know I've seen it somewhere (I've used it in
the past), but now I can't find it anywhere.

Alternatively, is there a value I can set
in .local/share/applications/<item>.desktop?
