This gives the assurance that all packages are built on the same basis. Of course, R14.0.x series is being prepared to keep the compatibility there, so mixing R14.0.10 and R14.0.11 built for the same distribution would be possible, but there is no reason to do it. For distributions whose support has been ended, the packages for the last supported version remain in the repository. For example, in repository continues to be available packages TDE R14.0.10 for Wheezy because packages TDE R14.0.11 will no longer be built for Wheezy. Cheers -- Slávek
