sudo and su are two different critters, and for amanda to access my /home 
dir would first need a sudo -i and the PW to become root, followed by 
the su gene -c "command" to execute the command line. I don't think 
amanda even has a pw set. Its a user ok, but only because I configure 
and build amanda in that sub-directory
