This is often made mistake. If you have a single head video card (one video
processing), you have to configure multiple monitors not multiple screens.
Than use xrandr --output ABC --left-of DEF. Perhaps ABC needs to be
enabled - I usually do this through the icon (xrand) - switch to active and
than position on the right side of the other active monitor.
