I switched to tree view from the view icon and now when I open home in new tab it opens in tree view (sc4). It looks like it has to be done for each directory, because when I press CTRL+t I have a totally different set of icons (sc5). As soon as I select a directory it goes into iconview .. perhaps it is ViewMode=konq_iconview from [MainView Settings]. thanks & regards
