Thank you Dave for the perfect visualization. On my side it looks exactly
the same (only the language makes it hard to understand). 

Do you see the tree view when you open new tab (CTRL+t) and select a
directory or press the "home" icon?

In fact when I open new tab and select any directory I see the default icon
view or whatever view it is
