Maybe just put shades on him. He always was a reasonable mascot -- and a tweak to him would allow a change-as-time-permits and a per-application and help file basis, rather than an all at once. Be wary of putting too much effort into something that does not improve the usability, functionality or maintainability of TDE. Too many projects have fallen off track worrying about the fluff. (and if you don't recall the Herculean amount of effort Darrell put into the simple K->T graphic change in the 2012 timeframe - a mascot change -- that actually changes all the places where Konqui appears -- will take just as much. -- David C.
